Worcester – Angela T. Solano, 93, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, November 8th in Saint Vincent Hospital after a short illness.
Angela was born in Lima, Peru one of six children to her parents Rafael and Eudocia (Falconi) Solano and moved to Worcester in 2008. She was married to the late Victor N. Neyra and is survived by 5 daughters, Mercedes E. Neyra of Pennsylvania, Rosa D. Payva of Worcester, Bibeca J. Neyra of Worcester, Maria L. Cordova of Worcester and Rosana J. Neyra of Worcester; two sons, Alfredo N. Neyra of Lima, Peru and Jorge A. Neyra of Lima, Peru; a sister, Elena Solano of Lima Peru; 35 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Angela was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish for many years and she was an avid painter, decorator and enjoyed drawing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 15th at 12 Noon in Saint Peter’s Church 929 Main Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held before the funeral from 10 to 11:30 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hamond St. Worcester.
