Richard L. Chandler, Jr. age 67 of Raynham formerly of Canton passed away at Seasons Hospice in Milton on November 13th. Born and raised in Canton. He attended Canton Public Schools and graduated from Norfolk Agricultural High School in Walpole. He worked for the Town of Foxboro as a supervisor in the Highway Department for over 28 years before retiring in 2014. Most recently he worked as needed as a handyman at GB Sons Construction in Raynham. He loved to go fishing, spend time at the beach, work in his yard, maintain his garden and go camping with family and friends. He also had a joy for cooking. Most of all he loved watching his grandson, Ryan, play baseball and football. Richie is preceded in death by his late wife, Julie Ann Chandler. Survived by his beloved wife, Donna Victoria-Chandler of Raynham. Loving father of Nicole Chandler-Ferris and her husband Paul of Braintree, and Timothy Chandler and his wife C.J. of Attleboro. Step-father of Jessica Cournoyer and her husband Matt of Blackstone, Jennifer Harris and her husband Tom of Dedham. Brother of John Chandler and his wife Sharon of Walpole. Loving grandfather of Ryan, Adelyn, Skylar, Karson, T.J. and Ryan H. Furrever missed by his ChiChi. Remembered by his friends, family and all who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton on Saturday, November 16, from 4-8 p.m. Memorial and Burial services will be private at a later date.
