Jackie Lee "Jack" Summers, 86, Chesterfield, died November 9, 2019 at his residence.
Jack was born in Moonsville, the son of Paul and Ruth (Fraziers) Summers.
He served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957.
He worked at General Motors 36 years before retiring in 1990. Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending NASCAR races, spending times with friends and family.
Jack is survived by his wife, Sandra (Rice) Summers of Chesterfield whom he married November 27, 1955; his three children, Leanna (Jim) Lee; Debra (Randy) Moorman, Bob (Lisa) Summers; ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Summers and Eloise Barth and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Dick Snyder, Bob Summers, Howard Summers and Gene Summers and a sister, Phyllis Closser.
Funeral services will be 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Rozelle- Johnson Funeral Service. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the service.
Memorial contributions may be given to Community Hospice.
