Stephen J. Cavalieri, 94, of Worcester died Wednesday, November 6th at home. His wife of 27 years, Evelyn L. (LeClair) Cavalieri died in 2003. He leaves his three sons, Thomas, Paul and Richard; and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.
He was born in Worcester the son of Paul and Anna Marie (Rossielo) Cavalieri and lived here all his life. Stephen worked at Worcester State Hospital for 14 years, retiring in 1985 and previously worked as a crane operator for Morgan Construction. Stephen enjoyed going to flea markets.
Mr. Cavalieri was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II where he received the Victory Medal, American Theatre Ribbon and the Good Conduct Medal.
Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with arrangements.
