Ralph Alan Burns, 59, of Bellingham formerly of Medway and Franklin died November 5, 2019 at the Medway Country Manor with the comfort of his family . He was the husband of Sherell (Thornhill) Burns for the past 40 years.
Born in Burlington , Vermont, February 26, 1960, the son of the late Raymond F. and Mary (Gibbons) Burns, Mr. Burns was raised in Franklin and had lived in Medway for 32 years before moving to Bellingham earlier this year.
Ralph had been an auto body repairman for many years.
He enjoyed golf, snorkeling and the New England Patriots, to which he had season tickets for many years.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Sherry Barry and her husband Chris of Bellingham and Christopher Burns of Bellingham.
He was the uncle of the late Richard Thornhill, Jr.
He is also survived by his siblings, Virginia Hudson and her husband Bud of Barnett, Vermont, Michele Lewis and her husband Henry of Bellingham, Raymond Burns , Jr. and his wife Elaine of Riverview, Florida, Roberta Maier and her husband David of Hammond, New York and Cheryl Marcone and her husband Thomas of Bellingham.
He was the brother the late Karen S. Smith and is survived by Karen’s husband Steven Smith of Bellingham.
He is also survived by his grandson Christian Barry.
He had many nieces and nephews whom he loved.
