Gerard J. Goulet, 82 of New Bedford died November 2, 2019 unexpectedly at home.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late George J. and Cecile (Major) Goulet, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
He was formerly employed as a commercial fisherman aboard several vessels of the New Bedford fleet for many years until his retirement.
Survivors include his daughter, Darlene M. Correia and her companion Danny Seymour of Brookings, OR; 8 brothers and sisters, Rita Halle of Wisconsin, Claire Rose of California, Jeanne Vermette of Florida, Robert Goulet of Dartmouth, Leona LaVoie of Middleboro, Pauline St. Pierre of Westport, Madeline Goulet of New Bedford and Conrad Goulet of Wilton Manors, FL; a granddaughter, Amanda Correia of California; 3 great-grandchildren, Addisyn, Ashlyn and Scarlyt, all of California; many nieces and nephews.

His Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, November 16th at 10 AM in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted.
