Susan K. Dollings
Beloved daughter, sister, and aunt

LOWELL: Susan K. (Emmons) Dollings, age 62, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away at the Town & Country Health Care Center in Lowell on Thursday, October 31, 2019.

Born in Tewksbury on December 13, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Robert O. Emmons, Sr. and the late Barbara (Jacobsen) Meyer.

Susan was raised in Tewksbury, attended Tewksbury schools, and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1974.

For many years, she resided in Houston, Texas, where she received licensing in Cosmetology & Nail Technology. Susan later served as an instructor in the field of Cosmetology & Nail Technology, and was highly respected and admired by her students.
In addition, Sue received advanced certifications in nail technology and cosmeceuticals.

She was a devout Catholic, with a deep spiritual faith. She was a cat enthusiast and an avid frog collector--the acronym FROG meaning: “Forever Rely on God”.

Following her years in Texas, she returned to the area and resided in Pepperell and Chelmsford.

She enjoyed fishing, listening to country music, and treasured the memory of dancing with country music singer George Strait.

Susan fought courageously for the past 2 years to overcome the physical ailments sustained from an accident at her home in 2017.

She leaves siblings, Cynthia Jenkins, Linda Emmons Gibson, Margot Meyer, Dianne Nocco, Mark Kloetzer, and Robert Emmons, Jr.; her step-mother, Gina Emmons; also many nieces and nephews.
Susan was the sister of the late Scott Emmons.

A private memorial will be held at the convenience of the family.
