SPENCER: Arthur J. Morrison,85,of Lyford Rd., died Sunday, Nov. 3 at Quaboag Rehabilitation in W.Brookfield.
He was the husband of Diane L. (Cauvin) Morrison who died in 2000. He leaves his son Craig B. Morrison and his wife Nana of Honolulu, Hawaii. His daughters Lynn Berthiaume and her husband David of Athol, Tara Flannery of Spencer, Kim Morrison Weiss and her husband Gregory of Irvine, California and Lisa Morrison of East Brookfield, his sister Shirley Whitney of North Brookfield, 9 grandchildren, a great granddaughter, several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brothers; Timothy, Robert and Louis Morrison and a sister Jean Gaudette.
Arthur was a TV repairman for more than 25 years and owner of Art's TV in Spencer before retiring in 1997.
Born if Worcester, he was the son of Louis and Mary (Ryback) Morrison and graduated from North Brookfield High School. He served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Air Force and later worked at Raytheon Corp.for several years.
He was and avid baseball player, New England Sports Team Fan and enjoyed playing with his "pugs".
Private graveside services will be held in Walnut Grove Cemetery, North Brookfield at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Second Chance Animal Services, P.O. Box 136, E.Brookfield, MA 01515.
