Obituary

Priscille LeGallee, 81, of Kennebunkport, former longtime resident of Arundel, died in her home on November 2, 2019 surrounded by family following a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Priscille was born April 8, 1938 in Biddeford, daughter of Rudolph and Lucille (St. Ours) Petrin. She was educated in Biddeford at St. Joseph’s School and went on to work in the HealthCare field as a CNA at various facilities and then later as a Home Health Aid, where she was adored by her clients. She also devoted her time to caring for her parents in their later years.
In her early years Priscille was an equine enthusiast ingraining the passion into her daughters and granddaughters. She enjoyed snowmobiling at her brothers home in Arundel and rollerskating with her sisters. She loved crafting and ceramics and really showed her talents through her art of cake making and decorating for family weddings. She gifted homemade crocheted afghans to her family and friends. She loved collecting porcelain dolls, butterflies, and brooches. She had a green thumb when it came to growing african violets and doted on her feline and canine companions. She cherished long walks with her family that were filled with joking and laughter. Above all, she loved her family and was so proud of all of them.
Priscille was predeceased by her first husband Gerard (Gus) Laverriere of Biddeford, her second husband Jesse B. LeGallee of Biddeford Pool, sister Constance Turgeon of New Hampshire, and a grandson Devan Smith of Sanford.
Pris is survived by her brother Richard Petrin and his wife Andre of Jackman; brother Jerry Petrin and wife Kim of Medway and sister Carmen Petrin of Rochester New Hampshire; her seven children, Barbara Linnie and husband Robert of Lyman; Carlene Laverriere of Waterboro; Deborah Bolger and her husband Bruce of Kennebunkport; Gus Laverriere of California; Nanette Smith of Sanford; Michelle VanderBloeman of Saco; Richard Laverriere and his wife Julie of Alfred; two step children, Bill and Lynn LeGallee.  She will be greatly missed by her children, her fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at The Kennebunk Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 2 Harrisecket Road, where she was a longtime member, on November 30, 2019 at 2:00pm. A gathering will follow the service at the Masonic Lodge on Alfred Road in West Kennebunk.

The family is very grateful to the congregation friends and staff at Beacon Hospice for their loving care and support. HEARTFELT THANKS.
