Deborah A. “Debbie” Spada (Wier) of Canton passed away November 1st at the age of 61 after a fierce and courageous battle with lung cancer. Born and raised in Quincy, she graduated from North Quincy High School and Massasoit Community College. She ran a family day care center from her home on Mechanic Street for 15 years and also worked as a Cosmetics Manager for Macy’s in Brockton. She was a dedicated mother, wife, daughter and friend. Debbie loved the New England Patriots and enjoyed cooking, baking and taking care of everyone no matter what they needed.
Beloved wife of James M., Mother of Becca and Jennifer Spada, both of Canton. Daughter of Deena Wier (Chansky) of Foxboro and the late Billy Wier. Sister of Jackie Wier of Quincy and Ronnie Wier of Pembroke.
Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Monday from 4- 8pm. Funeral service at the Funeral Home Tuesday morning at 11am. Burial Sharon Memorial Park.
