Grace (Fabiano) Tarani passed away peacefully at her Medford home on Monday morning, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in Boston, she lived in Medford for many years. A devoted wife and mother to seven, Grace enjoyed an accomplished career, working at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Cross Country and for the past 16 years working with her children as the business manager with the information technology firm, IT4. When not at work, Grace enjoyed travelling, shopping, and preparing meals for family, especially on holidays. Nothing brought Grace more joy than spending time with her family. She will be fondly remembered for her witty sense of humor, polished fashion and spectacular cooking. Grace will be sorely missed by all.
The beloved wife of the late Arthur Tarani, who passed away in 2004, Grace is survived by her seven devoted children and their spouses: Alex and his wife Cathy of Stoneham, James and his wife Mary Ann of Medford, Arthur Jr. and his wife Sharon of Medford, Mark and his wife Kathy of Billerica, Lisa and her husband Paul of Stoneham, Robert and his wife Amy of Medford and Gina and her husband Matthew of Medford. Grace is also lovingly survived by her 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, extended family and many dear friends.
The family respects Grace’s final wishes for a private memorial service for immediate family members.
