Diana M. (King) Cervone of Medford died on Saturday, October 26, surrounded by loving family. Born and raised in Bangor, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Yvonne R. (Soucie) King. Diana was a wonderful nurse, and an amazing, formidable and very smart woman. She loved playing cards, loved people and animals, including pets Gidget, Emily, Collette, Rudy and Noelle.
Diana was the beloved wife of the late John B. Cervone II, and the devoted mother of John B. Cervone III of Lynnfield, Diana Cervone Gintner of Medford, Joseph P. Cervone of Colorado, Paula J. Noll and her husband Gary of Danville, Pennsylvania, and Jacqueline Cervone of Medford. She was the loving grandmother of Johnny, Julie, Lindsey, Jacqui, Renée, Danielle, Gina, Gregory, Christopher and Frankie, and the loving great grandmother of 12. Diana was the dear sister of Helen "Honey" Denny and her husband Larry of Georgia, Mary Bolshaw of North Adams and her late husband Joel, and Dennis King and his wife Linda of Maine. She was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, November 2 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, November 1, from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
