Gloria H. Marcum, 68, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, October 27, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Marcum was born January 30, 1951, in Douglas, Georgia, to the late Mose Herring and Margaret Pearl Vining Howard. She had a heart of an angel and was loved by all. Mrs. Marcum will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Marcum of Douglas; children: Norman & Kesha Bass of Douglas, Leona Bass & Lawrence Cline of Fitzgerald and Raymond Marcum of Douglas; grandchildren: Trenton Marcum, Jordan Marcum, Chevy Marcum, Andrew Harris, Richard Harris and Michael Dowdy; a great-grandchild, Jaxson Dowdy; siblings: Faye Lloyd of Wilsonville, Al Herring of Ft. Pierce, Florida, Whitey & Brenda Herring of Douglas and Sadie & Bill McAllister of Chicago, Illinois.
