George O. Galipeau, 76, of New Bedford died October 26, 2019 unexpectedly at home. He was the husband of the late Mary A. (Stager) Galipeau.
Born and raised in New Bedford, son of the late George O. and Eileen (Cowell) Galipeau, he lived in New York and Louisiana while serving in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years before returning to New Bedford in 1984.
Survivors include his 2 sons, James Galipeau of Florida and Peter Galipeau and his wife Lynne of Dartmouth; 2 daughters, Ann-Marie Galipeau of Kansas and Marcia Murphy and her husband Patrick of East Taunton; and 7 grandchildren, Justin, Dylan, Sean, Sarah, Ryan, Emma and Nathan.
He was the brother of the late Dr. Philip Galipeau.
