Obituary

Worcester—Margaret (Panagian) Alexandrian, 83, died Sunday, January 22, 2006, at UMass Memorial Hospital. Her husband of 35 years, Manoog “Mike” Alexandrian, died in 1975. She was born in Milford, daughter of Serop and Mary (Parnagian) Panagian and was a graduate of Milford High School. Margaret worked for 25 years as a cashier in Memorial Hospital’s cafeteria, retiring in 1984. She was a member of Armenian Church of Our Saviour. She is survived by 2 daughters, Ann Najarian and her husband Francis and Flora Kasparian, all of Worcester; 2 brothers, George Panagian of Worcester and Maurice Panagian of Milford; 2 sisters, Agnes Costa and Elmon Panagian, both of Milford; 3 grandchildren, Scott Najarian of Worcester, Keith Najarian of E. Brookfield, and Lisa Sarkisian of Westford; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her twin brother, Sgt. Vartan Panagian, killed in action during WWII, and 2 sisters, Virken Krikorian and Irene Theroux.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 26, 12:00 noon at the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St. Burial will be in Milford at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will Wed. 5-7 p.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. A Dahngark service will be held at 6:30 during calling hours.
