Giulia Luisa (Pernarella) Ciollo, 92, of Dedham, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 24, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Ciollo who died in 2011.
Born in Monte San Biagio, Italy on September 22, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinando and Diamante (Raso) Pernarella.
Mrs. Ciollo grew up in Italy and resided of Dedham since 1969.
Before her retirement, she worked at Armstrong Laboratories in West Roxbury for 20 years.
Mrs. Ciollo was a gifted seamstress who also enjoyed cooking elaborate meals for her family and caring for her grandchildren with much love and affection.
She is survived by two sons, Rudolph Ciollo and his wife Angelina of Dedham and Peter Ciollo and his wife Donna of Hyde Park, a daughter Ida D’Annibale and her husband William of Medway and two brothers, Gino and Pietro Pernarella, both of Rome, Italy.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Joseph, Julie, Rachel, Justina, Elizabeth, Jessica and Brigett and five great-grandchildren, Rose, Giuseppe, Paul, Antonio and Eva.
She was predeceased by her brother Pio Pernarella and her sister Ginevia D’Annibale.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway on Monday, October 28 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
A calling hour will be held on Monday from 10 - 11 a.m. IN THE CHURCH.
