Obituary

Wayne A. Boyko
Co-founder of Renewable Technology Resources

SALEM, NH: Wayne A. Boyko, age 44, a longtime resident of Salem, NH, passed away at his home on Monday, October 21, 2019.

Born in Methuen on May 25, 1975, he was the beloved son of Larry A. Boyko and Susan M. (Lawlor) Boyko, who reside in Pelham, NH.

Wayne was raised in Salem, attended Salem schools and graduated from Salem High School in 1993.

Following graduation, he attended Plymouth State College, where he received his B.S. Degree in 1998.

In 2008, Wayne and co-founder, Mark Dowgiert, opened and operated Renewable Technology Resources (RTR Computers) in Lawrence, MA.

Wayne enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, following the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox, playing a round of golf with his Dad, playing softball, and most of all spending time with his family. He also loved animals and volunteered at a couple of local animal shelters.

One of his greatest joys in life was spending time with his nephews, Eben and Ellis. When Wayne was with them, he was transformed into a child again. There were many wrestling matches and squirt gun fights.

Wayne and his sister, Jacqui, had embarked on a bee keeping hobby. With the help of Eben and Ellis, they had a very successful honey harvest just a couple of weeks ago.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Jacqueline S. Boyko and her wife, Hesper Schleiderer-Hardy and their sons, Eben and Ellis, all of Wells, ME; his brother, Michael C. Boyko and his wife, Yvonne Engler, of Weaverville, NC; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Wayne was paternal grandson of the late George and Pauline (Bender) Boyko, and maternal grandson of the late Clifford “Cliff” and Kathleen (Sheehan) Bolton.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 3-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury.
