Obituary

Maureen Theresa (Callahan) Mullaly of Medford died on Wednesday, October 23. Raised and educated in Charlestown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Lee) Callahan. Maureen lived in Somerville before settling in Medford over 50 years ago. She loved listening to music, working with ceramics, and most of all spending time with family at her favorite place, Lake Winnipesaukee.

Maureen was the beloved wife of the late William S. Mullaly, and the devoted mother of Patrick Mullaly and his wife Linda, Amy Prestigiovanni and her husband John, all of Medford, Jonathan Mullaly and his wife Kira of Windham, New Hampshire, and then, Kate Mullaly of Medford and her Fiance' Wayne McQuarrie. She was the loving grandmother "Ma" to Jeremy, Zachary and Jillian Prestigiovanni, Liam, Connor, Declan and Keely Mullaly, and Jack McQuarrie. Maureen was the dear sister of Joseph Callahan and his wife Dolores of Woburn, and is also survived by her Auntie Cecelia Pratt of Dorchester and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, October 29, at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday, October 28, from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
