OLD ORCHARD BEACH- Susan G Frost, 68 of Old Orchard Beach, formerly of Caribou, passed away on October 22 after a long a courageous battle with cancer. She was born 9/30/1951 in Woodland, Maine to F. Orvice and Thelma Frost.
Susan was a beloved mother and nana to her four children, five grandchildren, and one great grandson. Her passion was her family and she loved spending time with them, especially on bargain hunt adventures. She could not resist a good yard sale or second hand shop. Everyone who knew Sue knew her for her style and sass. A self-taught seamstress, she could make, mend, or alter any type of clothing and found great enjoyment in making clothes for her children. She was also a jack-of-all-trades with home improvements. From decor to renovations, she had an eye for detail and could swing a hammer just as precise as she could sew a button.
She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity in helping others. Her children will always admire her for her strength and will.
Three daughters and a son survive her. Michelle Boucher and her husband Carl of Gorham, JayLynn Sheldon and Husband Chip, Judy Mazerolle and husband Marc and Linny Walton all of Caribou.
Five grandchildren Michael Boucher and wife Taylor of Buxton, Courtney Miller and husband Jeremy of Caribou, Ricky Sheldon of Scarborough, Seth and Ava Phair of Caribou and one great grandson Rowan Boucher of Buxton
Three sisters Nancy Rodgers of Old Orchard Beach, Sharon Peters and husband Don of New Sweden, Cindy Norwood and husband Jim of Ellenton, Fl, one brother Randy Frost and wife Jodi of Woodland and one sister in law Nancy Frost of Caribou. Several nieces and nephews.
Her parents and two brothers Frank and Milton Frost predeceased her.
A celebration of life will take place at Living Waters Church 133 Fort Fairfield Road, Caribou, Maine on November 2 at 2:00 PM
