Obituary

SWANSEA – James Rocco Crivaro, age 67, of Swansea, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, after a long battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). He was the son of the late James V. & Lena C. (Bonstingle) Crivaro.

Survivors include his Children: Kristy Calvano (Husband Christopher), Tammi Veader (Husband George), Joshua Crivaro (Wife Deborah), Ashley Santos (Husband Nicholas), and James Crivaro (Fiancé Felicia); a Step-Daughter: Jamie Page Dumond; Sisters: Mary Janet Quinlan & Alverda Pinder; Grandchildren: Allie, Jordan, Gabrielle, Tianna, Jillian, Aiden, Jaxon, Hannah, Haley, Landon, Emilia, & Grace; Great-Grandson: DJ; and several Nieces & Nephews. He was the brother of the late Rosemarie Spooner, Virginia Joyce, & Katherine Leonard.

James was a Flooring designer and Installer for Regal Floor Covering Co. for over 20 years. James also served his country and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

When he wasn't working, he loved listening to music, fishing, working on his cars, and volunteering his time to several non-profit organizations. He was passionate about all sports, especially baseball and football. He touched the lives of many, and will be remembered for his boisterous personality and passion for enjoying life to the fullest.

Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will take place in St. Thomas More Church, Somerset, MA on Saturday, Nov. 2nd at 10:00 A.M. Urn Entombment w/ Military Honors on Friday, Nov. 15th at 12:30 P.M. in MA National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
