James R. Dias II, 29, of E. Freetown passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019 at home. He was the husband of Ashley (Becker) Dias.
Mr. Dias was born in Fall River, son of James R. and Deidre (Hibbert) Dias of Dartmouth. He was the co-owner/operator of JC Excavation in Acushnet. He loved his dogs, enjoyed working, riding his horses and riding quads. He was always joking and making someone laugh.
Survivors along with his wife and parents include his paternal grandmother: Mary Lou Dias of Westport; maternal grandmother: Elizabeth Hyde Hibbert of Somerset; brother: Andrew Warren of Fall River; sister: Jessica Ventura of Acushnet; mother and father-in-law: Barbara and Stephen Becker of Exton, PA; 3 nephews and a niece: Wyatt and Mason Ventura, and Drew and Alicia Warren.
He was the grandson of the late Raymond J. Dias and Frank L. Hibbert.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Unitarian Memorial Church, 102 Green St., Fairhaven, MA 02719 at 3:00 P.M.
Interment will be private.
