Shirley B. (Huntley) Chagnon, 92, of Franklin died October 18 in the Forge Hill Assisted Living , She was the wife of the late Arthur H. Chagnon who died in 1987.
Born in Scituate, March 13,1927, the daughter of the late Royden K. and Katherine V. (Pelrine) Huntley, Mrs. Chagnon had lived in Lexington for many years before moving to Franklin.
She is survived by her children, Steven J. Sorensen of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, Peter K. Sorensen of Kingston, MA, Arthur H. Chagnon, Jr. of Oxford,Maine, Mark J. Chagnon of Brookline,MA and Cynthia J. Harvey of Franklin,MA She was the mother of the late Theodore L. Sorensen of Perth, Australia.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Luke Sorensen, Thomas Sorensen, Richard Sorensen, Robert Sorensen, William Sorensen, Chelsea Chagnon, Hannah Chagnon, Nathan Chagnon, Trevor Beck and Samantha Beck and 8 great-grandchildren.
Services will be private.
