Auvern E. Kenison, 82, of Randolph, NH passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019. He was born in Berlin, NH on October 15, 1937, the son of the late Leland and Eva (Lavoie) Kenison. He grew up in Jefferson and was a graduate of Berlin High School class of 1955. After graduation, he married Judith in 1958 and the couple settled in Randolph. He served for 9 years in the Army National Guard. He worked for his parents for many years, then for Ray Willey, and most recently for White Mountain Lumber Co. In 2019 he received his 40-year Forest Fire Deputy Warden pin. He also served on the School Board and the Select Board for the Town of Randolph for several years.
Auvern is survived by his wife Judith Kenison of Randolph, NH; 4 children Tracy Molesky and husband Vince of Goffstown, NH, Cynthia Rines and husband Kevin of Gorham, NH, Leland Kenison and wife Christine of Berlin, NH, and Richard Kenison and wife Vanessa of Jacksonville, FL; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. He also leaves his sisters Jeannette Corrigan of Randolph, NH, and Elizabeth Riendeau and husband Ronnie of Cascade Gorham, NH, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 10 AM at Holy Family Church in Gorham, NH. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home in Gorham. A private burial will take place at a later date in Randolph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Randolph Foundation, North Country Home Health & Hospice, or to a charity of your choice.
