Mrs. Demetra (Kotsiopriftis) Dardonis, a resident of Tewksbury and beloved wife of Billy Dardonis, passed away at the Lowell General Saints Memorial Hospital in Lowell on Wednesday evening, October 16, 2019. She was 56 years old.
Born in Montreal, Canada on August 23, 1963, she was the beloved daughter of Angeliki (Tsakona) Kotsiopriftis and the late John Kotsiopriftis.
Demetra was a very devoted wife and mother. She will be dearly missed.
Besides her beloved husband, Billy and mother, Angeliki, she is survived by her loving children; Angela Dardonis, Christopher John Dardonis and Stephanie Dora Dardonis, all of Tewksbury, brother; Peter and his wife Roula Kotsiopriftis of Montreal, Canada and niece Ioanna Kotsiopriftis of Montreal Canada. She is also survived by her brother-in-laws, Charles and Julia Dardonis of Somerville, George and Monica Dardonis of Revere and Peter and Martha Dardonis of Arlington.
Her funeral will be celebrated in Sts. Constantine & Helen Church, 71 Chandler Road, Andover on Monday, October 21, 2019, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the church, prior to the service, from 10 to 11 AM. Interment will be held in St. Mary Cemetery in Tewksbury. Donations in Demetra's memory may be made to Sts.
