Evelyn, M. (Lange) Loeser, 87, of Shrewsbury, died Tuesday, October 15th with her loving family by her side. Her husband of 24 years, William T. Loeser died in 1978. She is survived by her son Tim Loeser and his wife, Stacy of Islandia, NY; two daughters, Cathy Flanagan of Shrewsbury and Gail Kemp, and her husband, Allan of Littleton, CO; seven grandchildren, Gina Vigliatura, Julia Dale, Kara Ewick, Will Kemp, Matthew Loescher, Susan Flanagan and Michael Loeser; six great-grandchildren, Marley, Dylan, Andi Grace and Rori Mae Ewick and Charlie and Ellie Dale; and two nieces. She was predeceased by her brother, Dr. Richard Lange and her step-mother Liesel (Zimmerman) Lange.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of Richard and Marie ( May Biest) Lange. After raising her family, Evelyn worked as an executive secretary for Glendale Optical for 25 years. She had been a former member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Huntington, Long Island and an active member of the Southgate Community in Shrewsbury. She will be buried in Long Island National Cemetery in Wyandanch, NY on Thursday, October 24th at 1:00 p.m. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with arrangements.
