Granby- Raymond J. Bernash, age 65, passed away at Baystate Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family, on Oct 12, 2019. He was born in Springfield on May 18, 1954 to the late Armand J. and Cecile R. (Gelina) Bernash. Raymond was a member of LifePoint Church in Chicopee. He worked as a Facilities Manager at K&M Electronics/ITT industries for many years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his sons and grandchildren. Raymond leaves his loving wife Joyce (Gray) Bernash of Granby; two sons, Steven Bernash and his wife Odalie of Claremont, NH and Gregory Bernash and his wife Megan of South Hadley; one brother, Robert Bernash and his wife Sandra of Chicopee; one sister, Janet Bernash of Chicopee and six grandchildren, Matthew, Shane, Andrew, Naomi, Josh and Josiah; A nephew Mike Bernash of Chicopee, a niece Kathy Duvall of Chicopee and several great nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Fri, Oct 18, 2019 at 11 am at LifePoint Church 603 New Ludlow Rd. Chicopee, MA with burial to follow at St Rose de Lima Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be held on Fri, Oct 18, 2019 from 10 am to 11 am at Life Point Church.
