William Ralph Speight, 76, of Ashburn passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at The Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon.
Ralph was born on January 24, 1943 in Turner County to the late Joseph Reece and Lemmia Eloise Ward Speight. He served his country with honor in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired from Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany and was a member of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan Speight of Ashburn; sister, Linda Kay Baker of North Carolina; grandchildren, Reese Speight of Ashburn and Rayne Speight of Ashburn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda S. Reynolds and his brothers, Harold Speight and Wayne Speight.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 14, 2019 at Perry Funeral Chapel. The family will greet friends immediately after the service at the funeral home.
