Gail V. Rapoza passed away peaceful on Monday October 7, 2019 at the New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home where she was cared for by an outstanding group of individuals.
Though a long time resident of New Bedford, Gail spent significant portions of her life in Provincetown and in California. While in P-town, Gail embraced her love of nature, hiking the dunes and beaches and working for the Dolphin Fleet. An outstanding artist, she earned her degree in art education from Southeastern Massachusetts University. Gail poured her creativity into her pottery.
Gail was a free spirited soul and had an adventurous nature, driving across the country on several occasions stopping to enjoy the country’s National Parks and enjoying the beauty of nature. She enjoyed music, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.
She leaves her daughter, Susan Roessle and husband Konrad; her son, Eric Rapoza and wife Lisa; her daughter-in-law Brenda Rapoza; her grandchildren Evan, Erika, Spencer, and Anastasia; and her brothers, Glen Rogers and wife Cindy, and Larry Rogers.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Vivian Rogers.
