Forrest R. Bricker, 90, of Anderson, died Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Millers Merry Manor in Chesterfield.
Forrest was born on March 24, 1929 in Anderson, the son of Glenn and Audrey (Bond) Bricker. He graduated from Anderson High School in 1947 and served in the United States Navy from 1947-1955. He was employed by Delco Remy Division of General Motors as a stationary engineer for 28 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of Madison Park Church of God and recently was attending the Chesterfield Community Church of God. He was a member of the American Legion and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed Antelope hunting in Wyoming, and going to Mounds Park where he had a Rock and Gem Collection. He was a horseman and his favorite horse was "Apache Babe".
He is survived by his children; Lesley (Shannon) Bright of Anderson and Dana (Jeffery) Blose of Ft. Wayne; 1 granddaughter Summer (Christopher) Duncan of Muncie and 2 Great Grandchildren, Chloe and Quintin Duncan, a brother, Robert (Nancy) Bricker of Anderson and several nieces and nephews.
Forrest was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Billlie J. (Kelley) Bricker in 2005, and a sister Lucinda Broyles.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 11 AM at Chesterfield Community Church of God. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 4-7 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Chesterfield Community Church of God.
