Alice Caton, 60, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Monday, September 30, 2019, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Saturday, October 5, 2019, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Earl Perry officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Friday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Caton was born November 16, 1958, in Rome, Georgia, to the late Welby & Alice Neal. She moved to the community in 2011 from Rome, Georgia and was a former employee of WalMart and Dollar General. Mrs. Caton also was an LPN at nursing homes. She loved flowers and babysitting her grandson. She was a member of Little Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Steve Caton of Ocilla; children: Marty Neal & Mary of Cartersville, Alicia Jacobs & Dereck of Ocilla, Trisha Rollins and Moise of Fitzgerald and Ann Vaughn of Ocilla; grandchild, Zachary Rollins; stepchildren: Bobby Caton & Meagan of Sycamore, Billy Caton & Joyce of Sycamore and Candy Hunter & David of Sycamore; 9 step-grandchildren; and a brother, Welby Neal of Rome. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
