Johnna Shae Daniels-Carey, 29, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 4, 2019, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Gary Cadwell officiating. Johnna will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 3, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born August 24, 1990 in Tifton, Johnna was the daughter of Kay Brown Daniels of Tifton and the late John Mitchell Daniels. She graduated from Tift County High School in 2008 and she was a homemaker. She loved sports, especially soccer and was an advocate for animals and the Humane Society.
In addition to her mother and Wade Napier, who was like a step-father to her , Johnna is survived by her husband, Kirk Carey of Tifton; one son, John Daniel Carey of Tifton; one daughter, Luna Marie Carey of Waco, Texas and she was looking forward to the arrival of her second daughter, Charlotte Kade Carey. Johnna is also survived by one brother, Hunter Daniels and fiance Ashton Pitts of Tifton; two sisters Amanda Bennett and her husband Jeff of Bainbridge and Elizabeth O’Rear and her husband Patrick of Tifton; her grandmother, Elsie Babbitt of Tifton; and three nephews and a niece; John Michael Daniels, Kenzie Daniels, Cameron Bennett, and Walker O'Rear.
