Thu Van Ngo, 94, of Worcester died Tuesday, October 1st at home surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife of 71 years, Phuoc Thi Trinh; four sons, Tinh Van Ngo and Le Hoa, Thuong Van Ngo and Tam, Dien Van Ngo and Mai all of Worcester and Hoang Van Ngo and Kim Huynh of Florida; four daughters, That Thi Ngo and Quang, Mai Thi Ngo and Tran, Cindy Canh Ngo and Ngan, and Talena Thu Ngo and Ho all of Worcester; 27 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Dan Van Ngo, Tiet Van Ngo, The Van Ngo and three sisters, Hoa Thi Ngo, Quyen Thi Ngo and Bach Thi Ngo.
He was born in Cai Mon, Ben Tre, Vietnam. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Thu was a devout Catholic who was deeply religious. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards with his children and spending time with his grandchildren.
Calling hours are Thursday, October 3rd and Friday, October 4th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. His funeral is Saturday, October 5th from the funeral home with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Vilna Church, 153 Sterling Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street.
