Dartmouth - Barbara M. Tavares died Thursday January 19, 2006 at home. She was the wife of the Paul J. Tavares of South Dartmouth. She was the mother of Nicole M. Tavares of South Dartmouth. She was the sister of Frank Buetzo of Florida, and the late Robert Pheiffer. She was also survived by 1 niece and 1 nephew.
Mrs. Tavares was the daughter of Guenter Pheiffer of New Bedford and the late Luise (Hinz) Pheiffer. She was the Step-daughter of Eugenia Pheiffer of New Bedford. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Dartmouth Baptist Church.
Her Funeral Service will be Tuesday January 24, 2006 at 11 A.M. held at Perry Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Larry Schwartz. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Family and friends are invited. Visiting hours will be Monday January 23, 2006 from 5-8 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home.
