Harold E. Scott, 95, of Clark Road, Smithfield, died Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at the RI Veteran’s Home in Bristol.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was a son of the late Henry and Lillian (Bernhardt) Scott. He had lived in Woonsocket for many years. He had lived in Smithfield before moving to Bristol.
He worked for National Grid before his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, clamming and spending time outdoors and with his family. He was a WWII Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his children: Gail Picchioni of Woonsocket, Ronald Scott of Woonsocket, Valerie Bedard and her husband, Normand of Smithfield, Paula Scott of Woonsocket and Ruby Scott and her husband, Michael Villiard of Smithfield, his grandchildren: Danielle Lizotte, Giana and Stephanie Picchioni, Angel Despirini, Heather Dumont, Alyssa Bedard, Olivia and Victoria Ippolito and Brittany Ferdman, Joseph and Gina Mowry and Crystal Drake, and many great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Debra Ramella and Jason Mowry, father in law of the late Steve Picchioni and brother of the late Henry, Walter, Earl and Madonna Scott, and Marjorie Gentile.
There was a private funeral service with Military Honors at the RI Veteran’s Cemetery in Exeter.
