Kathy Dilisio, 73, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at Pruitt Health in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, October 5, 2019, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Earlie Holt officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends Friday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Dilisio was born July 23, 1946, in Rochester, New York, to the late Michael Carlotta and the late Florence Luke Walters. She was a former lab technician for American Blanching. Mrs. Dilisio enjoyed playing games, drinking red Mt. Dew and she loved to read.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Dilisio of Fitzgerald; children: Eddie Newton & Vicki of Fitzgerald, Flo Harper & Chris of Fitzgerald, Tommy Newton of Fitzgerald, Charlene Pickens of Maryville, Tennessee; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; siblings: Carl Karges, Jacquelyn Zuccaro, Patrick Walters, Amy Kearns, Mick Carlotta, Wendy Tunley and Camille Vangee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three children: Michelle Karges Newton, Billy Newton and George Thompson; one grandchild, Justin Smith; a great-grandchild, Hitch McMillan; two sisters: Aggie Wilson and Christine Tunley and one brother, Tony Walters.
