Lorraine T. (Giglio) Nicolosi, a longtime resident of Medford, passed away at her home on Friday morning, September 27, 2019. She was 76 years old.
Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, on July 20, 1943, she was the beloved daughter of the late Victor and Helen (Rush) Giglio. Lorraine was a self employed Day Care Provider for more than 26 years. She always enjoyed playing Bingo, Elvis music and seeing impersonators shows, watching Red Sox games and reading magazines. She also was and avid reader and loved to barbecue. Spending time with her family were her most treasured moments. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving children; Donny Nicolosi, Kym Nicolosi, the late beloved Marie Nicolosi, Mike Nicolosi, all of Medford, Christopher Dell'Isola of Arizona, also survived by her former husband and dear friend Donny Nicolosi Sr of Medford, siblings; Johnny Rush and wife Cathy of Wakefield, Victor Giglio and wife Lauren, Janet Giglio, the late Lillian Smith of Charlestown. She is also survived by her beautiful loving Granddaughters, Kaitlyn Lightbody and husband John of Georgetown, Stephanie Nicolosi of Medford and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at 8 PM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service, from 6 to 8 PM. Interment will be privately held.
