Allen George Morris, 66, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, September 28, 2019, at his residence.
Graveside memorial services will be held 3 PM, Sunday, October 6, 2019, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dan Hughes officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 PM, at Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Morris was born January 13, 1953, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late George Allen Morris, Jr. & Mary Alice Brown Morris. He graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 1971 and later received a Bachelors degree in business from the University of Georgia. Mr. Morris was a self-employed business man and he loved his cats and enjoyed feeding the chickens in Fitzgerald. Mr. Morris was a member of First Baptist Church in Fitzgerald.
He is survived by two sisters: Rhonda H. Walker & Gary of Ty Ty and Jan Morris Jones of Birmingham, Alabama; four nephews; one niece and two great-nieces.
