Dolores (Mello) Medeiros. Age 73. Wife of John Medeiros. Residence 78 Delmage Rd., Swansea, MA. Died Thursday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, MA. Daughter of the late William Mello and the late Rosalin(Novo)Mello. She was a Swansea resident for 38 years. Before retiring, she was a Dept. Manager at K-Mart. She was a member of St. Dominic Church.
Besides her husband of Swansea, she is survived by Two Daughters: Cynthia M. Rogers of Dartmouth, MA and Paula J. Dodge of Fall River, MA. Four Grand-children and One Great Granddaughter: Grandmother of Clinton L. Rogers,Robert P. Dodge, Jr. & wife Katie Riley Dodge, John J. and Holly M.Dodge. Great Grandmother of Grace Margaret Dodge. Aunt of several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late William Mello, Jr.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home,1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA Tuesday at 7:45 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Dominic Church, G.A.R. Highway, Swansea, MA at 9:00 A.M. Internment in St.Patrick Cemetery, Fall River, MA. Calling hours Monday 5-8 P.M.
