Mary Jean "Jeannie" Shaw, 81, faithful servant to her Lord and Savior has gone home to be with Him.
Mary was born May 11, 1938 in Cayuga, IN, the daughter of Roy and Thelma (Bennett) Overpeck.
Mary founded Operation Love and Harbor Lights Ministry. She served as a member of A. F. L. - C.I.O. Community Services Committee.
She is survived by three step-children, Debra (Bill) Phelps, Robert (Jan) Shaw and Pennie (Tony) Dalton; five grandchildren, Graham, Jennifer, Lee, Christopher and Sarah; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, C. Robert Shaw and her two daughters, Deborah Troxell and Kathy Webster.
Service will be 1 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Gary Cook officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Operation Love or Alzheimer's Association.
