SOUTH HADLEY ~ Patricia Michelle “Trish” Vaughn, 44, of South Hadley and a former resident of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Sunday, September 22, 2019. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Springfield on May 19, 1975, the beloved daughter of Ray Vaughn of Chicopee and Polly A. (Rooney) Vaughn of South Hadley. She was raised in Chicopee, graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School in 1993 and had lived in Chicopee for many years before moving to South Hadley in 1998. She had worked as a clerk at the Big Y Supermarket in South Hadley. During her leisure time, she enjoyed playing cards, reading one of her many thousand romance novels and watching her beloved Boston Red Sox. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends and most especially with her two beloved cats, Kyle and Karla. She was predeceased by her beloved infant brother, Michael Roy Vaughn who was Called Home on May 4, 1977. In addition to her parents, she leaves her many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. As Trish’s wishes were to be cremated, her family and friends are invited to attend a Prayer Service on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Dorcas Chapin Chapel at the Springfield Cemetery and Crematory, 171 Maple Street, Springfield, MA 01105. Her Burial Service will be held on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
