Audrey M.(Alessio) Carr, 82,of Wakefield for over 30 years, formerly of Medford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Friday, September 20th at the Bear Hill Nursing Home.
Born in and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and the late Genevieve (Bozzi) Alessio.
Audrey worked for many years as a manager at Medford Catering and also worked for many years at the Oosterman Nursing Home in Melrose. Audrey was devoted to her family especially, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning for them. Audrey was a kind gentle person who everyone loved to be around.
She was the beloved wife of the late Paul Carr. Audrey was the beloved companion for over 15 years to Robert Hamilton. She was the devoted mother to Joseph Curro and his wife Kristen of Ashland, Richard Curro and his wife Elaine of Stoneham and the late Audrey Doetsch. She was the loving grandmother of Nicholas, Zachary, Richard, Taylor, Kendall, Jason, Nicole and the late Anthony, Joshua and Tiffany, great Grandchildren, Jordan and Nicholas. Audrey was the dear sister of Deanna Grant.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family at Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Thursday September 26th from 3 to 7 PM concluding with a prayer service at 7 PM.
