Manchester– Roland L. Cote, 94, died September 18, 2019 at Catholic Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on August 14, 1925 the son of Leodore and Rose (Bourgeois) Cote.
He served his country in in the U. S. Navy in World War II. He was stationed in the South Pacific and fought in three major engagements, Okinawa, Lady Gulf as well as Luzon, in the Philippines.
He was a baker at F. W. Woolworths, and he also worked at Rich’s Department Store.
He held membership in Merrill Follansbee, American Legion Post 37.
He leaves several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his wife, Florence (Carrier) Cote in 2005 and sisters, Irene Therriault and Estelle Duval.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 4 to 7 pm at
J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 10 am in St. Joseph Cathedral Chapel, Lowell St.
Committal services will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Goffstown Rd.
