Katherine D. (Riley) Gold, 81, of Chesterfield, died September 19, 2019 at the home of her daughter.
She was born on February 16, 1938 in Byrdstown, Tennessee. She worked as a school bus driver for Blackford County and Daleville School Systems and also was a licensed beautician operating Katy's Beauty Shop for many years. Katherine enjoyed crafts, gardening and sewing.
She is survived by 2 children; Pamela (Wade) Garringer of Mooreland and David (Cindy Jo) Smith of Warren; 3 grandchildren, Shannah, Travis, and Kerry; 2 step grandchildren, Jeremy and Josiah; 4 great grandchildren, Clay, Kaitlyn, Laney, and Daphne; brother, Michael (Cathy) Riley of Muncie, and several nieces and nephews.
Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Gold; son, Johnny Smith; and brother, Larry Riley.
Private family services will be held at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
