FRANCIS X. DEVIN

February 17, 1963- September 12, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Francis X. Devin on Thursday, September 12, 2019 in Dorchester at the age of 56.
He was the youngest of 10 children born to the late Richard J. and Mary E. (Mazzeo). He was born in South Boston but was raised in the Savin Hill neighborhood of Dorchester.
Proud father of Emma and Christian Devin of Quincy.
Brother of Michael and his wife Patty of Quincy, Edward (Teddy) and his longtime partner Dianne of Weymouth, Marie (Burton) and her husband George of South Boston, Sheila of Weymouth, Brian of Pembroke, and Susan of Braintree. He was predeceased by three older brothers Richard, Jr. (Dickie), John (Chucka), and George all of South Boston.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and a large circle of many caring friends.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 9:30 AM in the St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church (formally St. Margaret’s), 800 Columbia Road, Dorchester.
