Mr. Scott A. Gorrie, of Andover, passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 18, 2019. He was 72 years old.
Born in Lawrence, MA on August 5, 1947, he was the beloved son of the late James and Marion (Hilton) Gorrie. He will be dearly missed.
Scott was a former Firefighter in Andover. Retired from the Andover Fire Department in 2006 after serving 33 years. He was a veteran of the Navy, proudly serving during the Vietnam war.
Scott leaves his loving daughter, Amy Gorrie, Jayne and Shelly and his best friend George Milne.
Services will be held in Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Tuesday September 24, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday prior to the service, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
