Richard Hollis Corhn, 90, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at his residence. A memorial service will be held for Mr. Corhn from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at his residence at 4050 U. S. Highway 41 South in Tifton. Mr. Corhn will be laid to rest at a later date.
Born February 15, 1929 in Osgood, Indiana, Mr. Corhn was the son of the late James B. Corhn and Madie M. Mullinex Corhn. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Betty Joan Howard Corhn; and one granddaughter, Ashley Parra. He retired from the United States Postal Service and he was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Mr. Corhn is survived by his partner, Guina Kirkland of Tifton; one son, Michael Corhn of Tifton; one daughter, Lisa Corhn Parra of Tifton; and two grandchildren, Griffin Parra and Melody Parra; and his extended family, Peggy Barfield, Michael Kirkland, Debbie Hilliard and Howard Kirkland, all of Tifton, Rick Kirkland of Phoenix, Arizona and Elaine Conley of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
