Cheryl Lea (Reeves) Semedo passed away on September 16, 2019. Beloved wife of Sylvester T. Semedo. Devoted mother of Natishia Mercado and her husband Axel. Loving sister of Alicia Reeves-Cobbs, K'Lee Reeves, and her twin sister Sharon L. Reeves. Dear grandmother of Alexandria and Axel III.
Cheryl worked with many Boston based companies as an Administrative Coordinator. In 1977 she joined Schepens Eye ResearchInstitute (formerly, MEEI, now known as Partners Healthcare, Inc.) and held several positions as Administrative Coordinator, Event Planner Coordinator. Cheryl joined the IT department in 2002 and was an essential member of the team. Being the only female on the team, she would referred to them as "My Guys"
Family and friends will Celebrate Cheryl's Life by gathering for Visiting hours in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale on Saturday September 28th from 1-3 pm. Rev. Ruthanne Darby will officiate.
Interment will be private.
