Normand L. Bouchard, 92, of Berlin, passed away on Monday September 16, 2019 at his home. He was born in Berlin on June 17, 1927 the son of Lucien and Bertha (Ramsey) Bouchard and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a Veteran of the US Navy and had been employed as a Maintenance Superintendent for Crown Vantage Corporation. Normand was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the American Legion Post #36 in Berlin, the Golden Age Club and the Millsfield Club. Normand was a passionate fisherman and was a sports enthusiast.
Family includes his son Alan Bouchard and his husband Peter King of Winthrop, MA; his brother Richard Bouchard of Berlin, NH; his sister Gloria Poulin of Port Orange, FL; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Jeanne C. (Lamontagne) Bouchard and a sister Anita Carpenter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday September 23, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow in the St. Kieran Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at church. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
