Nellie Marie (Pieragostini) Magliozzi, of Billerica, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Sunday, September 15th. She was 91. Born and raised in Boston. She was the daughter of the late Domenico and Ottavia (Bonini) Pieragostini.
Nellie was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence J. Magliozzi. She was the devoted mother of Lorna Ann Walsh and her husband Kenneth, Ronald L. Magliozzi and his wife Kathleen, Robert J. Magliozzi and his wife Joanne, and Gerald R. Magliozzi. She was the loving "Meme" of Noelle, Mathew, Heatherann, Anthony and Michael, and great-grandmother of Zoë. Nellie was the dear sister of Dina Garbino and the late Rose Haynes.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main, St., Medford, on Monday, September 23rd at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Sunday from 4 to 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
