SOUTH PORTLAND- Peter M. Mulkern, 59, of South Portland passed away on Friday September 13, 2019 at the Gosnell House in Scarborough, Maine. Peter was born on July 15, 1960 in Portland, Maine the son of Francis Mulkern Sr. and Joanne Mulkern. Peter attended Portland schools and worked as a warehouse manager and drove for a local taxi company. Peter’s passion was family especially his daughter Ashley Mulkern. He also enjoyed playing basketball, watching the cowboys and a competitive fantasy football team. Peter is predeceased by his father Francis Mulkern Sr and his brother Thomas Mulkern. In addition to his daughter, family members include his mother Joanne Mulkern and six siblings; Francis Mulkern and his wife Karen, Jack Mulkern and his wife Kathy, Jimi Mulkern and sisters Joanne Mulkern, Teresa Mulkern and Ann Marie and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday Sept. 19 at 11 AM at Calvary Cemetery in South Portland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southern Maine, 180 US Rt 1 Scarborough Maine 04074 for their support and comfort of Peter in his final days.
